David Ellefson Kings Of Thrash consists of former members of Megadeth with David Ellefson [bass], Jeff Young [guitar], who played on So Far So Good, So What?, Chris Poland [guitar], who played on Peace Sells and Killing Is My Business (and as session musician on The System Has Failed (2004), Chaz Leon [guitar/vocals], and Fred Aching [drums].

Following a series of warm-up shows in late 2022, the band announced the first leg of dates for their 2023 world tour commencing February 16th in Joliet, Illinois. The THRASHIN’ USA Tour will cross the Midwest, East Coast, and southeastern parts of the USA through March 15th, performing the Killing Is My Business…and Business Is Good and So Far, So Good…So What albums in their entirety. On March 24th, the band will release their Live CD/DVD Best of the West…Live at the Whisky A Go Go, which captures their infamous sold-out show at the Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood, CA. Pre-orders for the Live CD/DVD can be found here.
