The beginning of this Stoner Doom journey is a slow one “420” is a sluggish beast, crawling towards you and then? “No estoy” comes along with a slightly lighter tone, a bit faster, more aggressive yet psychedelic. The agitation soon dissolves as Matias Vodas starts to sing, the dude has a rock and roll voice and that completely diffuses my expectations. I expected raw vocals, sounding like a drunk that has only a few days left but this is quite decent, and I like this plot twist.

The three young men from Rosario, Santa Fe make no prisoners with their music and that is obvious after only three songs of their debut album. The lyrics of INFEROUS are mostly Spanish so I don’t have a clue what the guys sing about but that doesn’t matter most of the time (only issue would be if the reviewed band would be right wing or worse). All in all this is well played and chill music but it is not very melodic to be honest and that is the only downside to ”Somos la Noche”. Check these guys out and tell me what you think about it.
