Frontiers Records confirms the passing of drum legend Frankie Banali of Quiet Riot

The Frontiers Family is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Frankie Banali. We had the pleasure of working with Frankie on the two most recent Quiet Riot studio albums and found him to be a class act and a joy to work with. All of us will cherish the memories we have of he and the band’s amazing set at Frontiers Rock Festival 2018 too, where we were all got to experience firsthand his kindness and warmth.
In the face of his battle with pancreatic cancer, Frankie was a true inspiration with his positive outlook and determination to fight as hard as he could against it.
Our deepest sympathies to his lovely wife Regina, his daughter Ashley, and the rest of his family and friends.
Crank some Quiet Riot (and the W.A.S.P. albums he played on) this weekend in honor of the man!
