Liv Sin is the solo project of former lead singer of “Sister Sin”,Liv Jagrell. Sister Sin was active for 13 years touring throughout Europe and America, selling thousands of copies. They have been opening bands for metal bands such as Slayer and the mighty King Diamond. They also appeared on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. Since “Sister Sin” split up in 2015, Liv decided to go solo to continue her career. Her new band “Liv Sin” is consisted of members of Accept and U.D.O.

Listening to the album, you can feel the experience from all the musicians in the band. The mixing of the album is pure genius. The riffs and solos are completely magnificent. Viewing the album from the point of a solo project, as it is said, while giving attention to only the voice, you can feel it standing out from the rest of the band with its specificity. As for the vocal, even though in new composition, Liv shows the power and attitude she is known for over all these years.

The album is a mix mainly of aggressive heavy songs with some songs being slower than the others, but mainly keeping the balance for a perfect metal experience. As the album starts with “Killing Ourselves to Live” the rhythm is galloping and the only thing suitable for you to do is headbang. The closing track is “The Beast Inside”, this track is slower, starting off quiet but at the end wrapping it up with powerful mix of screaming vocals, stunning solo and banging drums. Everything between these two tracks is an adventure worth going on to.
