Death Dealer – Ross “The Boss” Friedman

Spread the metal:

Death Dealer
Interview with Ross “The Boss” Friedman

Conducted by Robert Williams

We are nearing the end of September as I write this and there is plenty of reason to get excited as the sweltering heat of summer gives way to fall. I love this time of year. Not just for all of the Halloween horror movie hoopla that October brings, but this year my attention is more focused on the second day of October as that is the day that “Hallowed Ground” the second album from the power metal all-star group Death Dealer (featuring current and former members of Manowar, Cage, Lizzy Borden &  Empires of Eden) is officially released via the band’s new record label Sweden Music Group. Having heard an advance of the new album I can tell you that if the band’s debut album “War Master” sunk it’s hooks deep into your flesh, rest assured that “Hallowed Ground” is even more of a metal monsterpiece of a record. Faster, heavier, louder is this second testament of steel. I reached out to my old friend (not to mention my all-time favorite guitarist) Ross “The Boss” Friedman to fill us in on all of the current excitement emerging from the Death Dealer camp…
