SIDIOUS are a 4-piece blackened death metal band from London, UK. Assimilated from a variety of underground acts (including fellow Kaotoxin doom/death outfit Eye of Solitude) SIDIOUS draw influence from across the extreme metal spectrum, ranging from symphonic black to brutal death.

SIDIOUS, which features members of EYE OF SOLITUDE, recently announced the addition of new drummer Krhudd, the mastermind and sole member of COLOSUS. Krhudd joined the band earlier this year as the band began work on Revealed In Profane Splendour. Other roster shifts have seen guitarist Isfeth take over vocal duties after the departure of vocalist Tom \”Void\” Allen.

The opening track (Sacrilegious Majesty)- one word WOW! This is a fecking awesome track; the thunder of the drums gives this a great Old school Death METAL feel- bloody well done Krhudd. Within seconds blood is starting to run from your ears and eyes as your senses explode into overload as Indomitus, Isfeth and Baalraith bring in the guitar and bass… but it is not over. OH HELL NO! Enter the shear growl of Isfeth and at this stage you don\’t know where you are or who is watching you, as SIDIOUS have you by the balls and they are not letting you go! Raise those horns and snap your neck; who cares that you might be on a bus or tube!?

SIDIOUS have produced a bloody awesome album here. The production quality throughout is excellent, I for one will be looking out for these guys at the concert venues. It does get very hard trying to choose a track that stands out from the rest, when the album is packed with nothing less then master pieces – and I can not choose.

All I can say is…BUY THIS ALBUM!
