HERFST to work with DAN SWANÖ again for upcoming release

Spread the metal:

Belgian necromantic metallers Herfst are entering the studio to record the successor to their self-released ‘The Deathcult Pt. I: An Oath in Darkness’. For the second time in a row, the band will join forces with UNISOUND Studios where none other than renowned producer DAN SWANÖ will be responsible for mixing and mastering.

The band aim for an early 2015 release and have already released a snippet from an early preproduction, which can be listened via the link  http://youtu.be/3C_vFNfNFjI

Meanwhile the promotional video for the track ‘Eyeless, Soulless’ of the previous album has reached well over 16000 views: http://vimeo.com/ 62586690
Formed in 1999, it was only after releasing a first demo-cd “The Fall” in 2003, that the band starts playing live. In 2005, the mcd “Life’s Enddesign” is unleashed, shortly after followed by some unavoidable line-up changes. In the Fall of 2009 Herfs† released ‘Necrotica’.

The international press response has been overwhelming, with staggering reviews scoring up to 97%!
On 19 May 2012 “The Deathcult EP I (Chapter one: an Oath in darkness)” was released. It contains 30 minutes of new material.

Since then Herfst has been very active in the live circuit, most notably with performances at Metaldays in Slovenia, Metal Frenzy in Germany and a small tour in Czech Republic in early 2014.
