Ex-Vital Remains ChurchBurn Signs Management Deal

Spread the metal:

CHURCHBURN the musical collaboration between two of the undergrounds masters of misery. Dave Suzuki, best known for his mesmerizing guitar work and brutal drumming in Vital Remains and Ray McCaffrey, who carved out sonic drum patterns for Sin Of Angels and Grief has tapped Dvs Artist Management to oversee the group’s business affairs.

Dvs Artist Management was created by former A&R rep Robert Bolger, who was previously the driving force behind Crash Classics, a division of the now-defunct independent Phoenix-based hard rock and heavy metal label Crash Music Inc.

Artists Bolger has signed and worked with in no particular order include: Flotsam and Jetsam, Whiplash, Autopsy, Cattle Decapitation, Nuclear Assault, Warbringer, Stereomud, Skinlab, Primer 55, Leeway, 40 Below Summer, Bulleteboys, Black N’ Blue, Bang Tango, Leatherwolf, Enuff Z’ Nuff, Jungle Rot, Just to name a few!

CHURCHBURN recently uploaded three demo tracks, Crown of Fallen Kings, Come Forth The Swarm, Kneel Upon Charred Remnants to their YouTube channel which could be streamed below.

Suzuki and McCaffrey have set out to share with the world their love of the Riff, Not only the most heavy but also the most haunting. Each song is crafted with the most sinister of intent. Churchburn wants the listener to feel a true sense of dread as the song progresses. This is only the beginning…

CHURCHBURN is very different from VITAL REMAINS, says Suzuki. Ray and I wanted to do something slow and heavy, just something pummeling to the listener. In regards to the groups ranks, McCaffrey commitments: there are a couple of people we may ask but nothing set in stone, we’re looking to round out the line up by the end of this year.

The group is currently writing and demoing material for their Debut release tentatively due in early 2013 on a label to be announced

Dave Suzuki – Guitar, Vocals
