These 2 tracks are from the band’s 2nd cd entitled SNOOZE. The first of the 2 tracks on this cd starts out quite melodic and a tad bit “atmospheric”. Then some really great vocals kick in. He is one amazing vocalist to say the least, very melodic with an excellent range. The song itself is fairly good with a repetitious chorus which will definitely stick in your head. The thing I found somewhat unique is that there is a keyboard solo at the end of the song. This is refreshing where usually you always get a guitar solo, this time keys are featured instead.
Next track “Strange Affair With The Night” is a more mellow track but vocalist Linx still puts on a stellar performance. His vocals are definitely one of the group’s strongpoints. The song itself is a bit lacking and forgettable but it does have it’s moments.
Hopefully we will hear more from them in the future. If these 2 tracks are any indication then the upcoming CD should be quite good.
