The iconic bands symphonic live show.

I first have to say that the video quality is phenomenal and the sound quality is amazing and crystal clear. The DTS audio mix is extraordinary. From the moment the music starts you\’re hooked. The sound of the orchestra playing is stunning then the camera pans into the stage and the curtains drop just as they kick into \”Rock You Like A Hurricane\” (or Hurricane 2000 as it\’s labeled on the case). The band are in top form and the guitar work never sounded better. Many of the songs are unfamiliar to me as I am not a huge fan of them (I just know the basics) but this is now going to change after hearing this disc. The orchestra is very prominent and \”In Your Face\” throughout the show but it does not overpower the band who now consist of only 3 \”Classic\” members (Klaus, Mathais & Rudolph), as well as James Kottak (Warrant) on drums.

If you are a fan of The Scorps then by all means pick up this DVD, even if you\’re not then it covers most of the bases. As I already stated I\’m not too familiar with the vast majority of their work and this is going to be my starting point. They are a band that should NOT be overlooked as I have done in the past. That said there is only one small complaint about this disc…Where the fuck are \”No One Like You\” & \”Send Me An Angel\”??
