I’m stunned, absolutely stunned. Why, you ask? Well, because I can’t believe that this shit gets made. Of course, one look at the bio, which is full of terms like “’murrican” and “workingman rawk” are dead giveaways as to what’s pressed on plastic here. I mean, who would have thought that redneck trailer-park trash would have their very own soundtrack? Yup, this CD must sound real good speeding down the highway in your rusty 1976 pickup.

Simply put, this disc is 20(!) songs of southern mayhem that only a drunk wonder could love. Husband and wife team of Travis and Liza has certainly come up with a true southern discomfort here. You want a taste of what this album is all about? Simply check out some song titles: “Musta Been Drunk”, “Militia Time”, “Cold Coors”, “Hate Radio”, and “Whiskey Rebel” perfectly sum up what this CD is all about. Are there any gap-toothed idiots in the crowd tonight?

Actually, the disc starts off good enough, with the first 6 or 7 songs (which equals about 15 minutes of music) being fairly amusing. After that though, man, it just tumbles all to hell to the point where by the time the CD ends, you actively hate it. Liza’s vocals are pathetic at best, but Travis’s growls are suitable for the music. Still, that’s not even close to being enough to make me want to listen to this borderline offensive crap. My suggestion: turn the shotguns on yourselves.
