When I was little, or just younger, I was captured by a small tribe of dwarves who had a great amount of stories go tell as well as fantasy-influenced drinks just for youngsters!

• DragonLance - Such a broad and embracing series. Boasting so many sub-series you should be able to find something which absolutely suits you.
• Berserk - One of the few Japanese manga’s I still read. Amazing story, stunning drawing and excellent characters.
• The Saxon Chronicles by Bernard Cornwell - Portraying the conflicts in the ninth-century Britain featuring Uthred who unwillingly has to serve kings, willingly slaughter British warriors on the line of Vikings and has a desire to reclaim his lost family fortress.

Non-MR job: Studying politics and international relations at University of Aberdeen. I also cover for Metalzone.dk - A Danish metal site.

Jobs at MR: I mostly throw marks after bands but like covering live performances. A bit of interviewing too.

Length of time with MR: Since Spring 2009.

Brief description of how you came to MR: I saw the staff openings and since it was impossible to get through to the boss I had to consort to Luxi, haha!

Best thing about being with MR: Engaging in more than just listening and being a “fan”. Getting my hands of loads of CD’s, help promote bands and have my say on things.

Worst thing about being with MR: Nothing as of yet. A great start for a long-lasting relationship!

How/when you first got into metal: I saw Nightwish’s “Nemo”-video at a mainstream Danish music programme. After that I started looking more at the band and discovered a whole world of fantastic music!

Favourite Metal Genre: I like power, gothic, black, symphonic, folk, melodic and death.

Least favourite metal genre: Metalcore and thrash. Generally it just doesn’t catch my ear.

First metal CD ever bought: Maybe Sonata Arctica.

First metal concert: It was Nightwish in Copenhagen in 2005.

Band or Other Music Experience: Not at all.

Favourite bands/artists: Holy shit! Here you get some: Nightwish, Leaves’ Eyes, Elvenking, Amon Amarth, Eluveitie, Svartsot, Mortemia, Sirenia, Cain’s Offering, Deathstars, Avantasia, Turisas, Battlelore, Sonata Arctica, Skyfire, Epica and Sabaton, Within Temptation, Dimmu Borgir and Dark Tranquility.

Least favorite bands/artists: None.

Most overrated bands/artists: Unfortunately there are a bit too many. I think Volbeat is one and another is Gojira.

Most underrated bands/artists: Battlelore is a good example of this.

Favourite album cover: I absolutely love how metal bands do their covers. Many amazing ones out there!

Favourite TV Shows: LOST, The Tribe, The O.C., Heroes, Flashpoint, True Blood, The Tudors and trying to get into Deadwood.
