2006, Bhurr Records
Rating: 3.5/5

This disc starts off with a bang and never really lets up. Starting off this aural attack is the killer upbeat rocker "GIiving Up The Ghost", with its high energy vocals, heavy guitar and pounding drums. A song like "Make Up X" starts off with that 80's sounding synthesizer and echo-laden vocal over it. Once the song kicks in it still has that 80's vibe to it. The synth is still happening in the background throughout most of the recording and it only comes up front in a couple of places. Just try to imagine Rick Springfield meeting Kajagoogoo at a rock show. The rock radio friendly "Standing Still" has number 1 hit written all over it with it’s slight Nickelback sound to it. The acoustic "The 1" is a refreshing surprise on the disc. A really great track with a somewhat mellow vibe. A great ‘bonus’ to the disc.

A enjoyable listen and well worth checking out.
