It's been quite an eventful year for High On Fire's guitarist/vocalist/frontman Matt Pike. This past February the Oakland, California trio unleashed their highly acclaimed fifth full length album "Snakes For The Devine", their first effort for E1 Music, having parted ways with longtime record label Relapse Records on good terms. Earlier this year, Matt Pike played a string of dates with his old band Sleep much to the delight of stoner/doom metal everywhere, many who may have been too young to ever witness the band live in their heyday. Metal-Rules.com caught up with Matt prior to High On Fire's earth shaking performance at this year's "Fun Fun Fun Fest" in Austin, Texas and he brought us up to speed on all of the latest happenings in the HOF camp...
