Tori Amos
Live At Montreux 1991/1992 (Blu-Ray)

2008, Eagle Vision
Rating: 3.5/5

Two complete concerts from Tori Amos at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival.. These shows were filmed just a year apart and for the most-part showcase her LITTLE EARTHQUAKE album which was released between the two performances.

The singer with the fire red hair is armed with a jet black piano and a mic. That is all that is needed to deliver an excellent performance of voice and piano. Her delicate yet emotional and powerful voice work very well with the sound of the piano creating a relaxing mood for the audience. Her renditions of “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and Led Zeppelin are quite interesting to say the least. Her spin on these classics are worth the price of admission alone.
