Musically astounding and visually intriguing are just a couple of ways to describe Ray’s performance at the infamous Montreux Jazz Festival. His music and stage presence have captivated audiences for decades and this release demonstrates why.

As a music fan first and a writer/reviewer/critic second I admit that apart from “Georgia” I was totally unfamiliar with Charles’ work. After watching this concert I feel better off for it as he is a remarkable talent and a damn fine entertainer. This concert release has exposed me to a different genre of music that was slightly foreign to me.

A very well filmed show that captures the essence of a Ray Charles show.
