3 originals and a cover of The Rolling Stones’ “Honky Tonk Woman” is what this E.P. is all about. If this is any indication of what is to come then we should be in for one helluva great disc.

Kicking off with the excellent rocker; “Save Me”, the bass and drum heavy rhythms are no match for Eleanor’s vocals. Holy Pie!! She has such a powerful voice here that it just hits you smack dab in the face. She is rough, yet ready and sounds like someone you wouldn’t want to come toe to toe with.  Next up is a total 180 with “Double Shift” as she sounds so emotional and mellow here. This mellowness is a big surprise after hearing the lead off track. Their cover of “Honky Tonk Woman” adds a bit of raunch to the already classic tune. The female vocals add a whole new dimension to the song. The disc ends off on another fast paced note with “Rebel’s Highway” which is slightly similar to “Save Me” except Eleanor carries some of the notes a bit longer. The guitars are pretty good, nothing mind-blowing and as I eluded too a moment ago the bass and drums are really up front.

A fine E.P. with an awesome singer. I cannot say enough about how great she is. She may not hit all the highs or be clean and polished but she sure as hell has the attitude. Personally I am looking forward to the full release.
