I flew in to sunny Anaheim, California via Austin, Texas the morning of January 18, 2008. Having covered the Summer NAMM convention last summer, I knew what to expect from a NAMM convention, but the Winter show is at least four times as large as it’s Summer counterpart and packed to the gills with the latest and greatest musical products and metal celebrities.

I had the chance to speak with some very notable metal musicians, and I also made time to speak with some companies whose products I feel are directly aimed at the metal musician .
