London After Midnight

Violent Acts of Beauty

2007, Metropolis Records

Rating: 3.5/5

An interesting collection of music to say the least. While it’s not everyone’s cup of tea those who are into this style should like it allot. It is not a Rock record by any means of the imagination although there are a few elements of it contained in some of the tracks.

This disc is mainly a industrial/techno sounding record with many effects and sounds. It is slightly diverse and all over the place at times. A difficult album to get into for the Rock fan. Lyrically the album is political and opinionated on the American government and worldly issues. The inclusion of ‘Club Mixes’ reaffirms the target market for this release. It is aimed at the underground dance/club group.
