Here is an interview that I’ve done with Marios from the band Nightrage. Nightrage have recently released their second album on Century Media and I asked him, of course, about the new album, about the member changes, about tour plans and what’s going to happen to Nightrage in the future.

In 2004, just as the sparkle of hope glowed dim, Dave Mustaine struck back with the excellent new album 'The System Has Failed', which especially after the less than stellar 'The World Needs A Hero' release, was a most welcome return to the high standard of song writing that we've come to expect from Dave. After the album release Mustaine surprisingly announced that the forth coming tour will be definitely be their last ever. Now they are now midst of their farewell tour called "Blackmail The Universe" and we were lucky to witness bands brilliant performance in Stockholm. |

The Internet and print magazines have been abuzz over one album recently—Mercenary’s 11 DREAMS. The Danish band unleashed this sonic behemoth in Europe last summer but February 8th sees the release of 11 DREAMS in North America. Following the lead of almost universal critical approval from the Europeans, 11 DREAMS appears to be headed down the same path as the rave reviews and accolades continue to pour in (don’t miss the reviews of 11 DREAMS here at Metal Rules) setting the album up with a surefire place among writers’ year-end lists.
On the morning of 11 DREAMS North American release date (Febraury 8th), I chatted with vocalist/bassist Henrik “Kral” Andersen about the new album, how the band is handling all the critical praise, the new lineup, the ready-to-explode Danish metal scene and just where exactly he got the nickname “Kral”…
