Here comes the interview I did with the singer Michael just before the show. I asked him some questions about what has happened since I've interviewed him and the bass player Micko earlier this year. I've also asked him what they've been up to this summer.

Swedish death metal pioneers Unleashed unleashed one hell of a brutal delivery of the utter death metal on the Black Stage at Wacken 2004.  Even though the band had been booked in the last minute to the bill,  they came and they conquored.

Anyway it was about time to have a chat with the band?s leader and frontman Johnny Hedlund to talk about their brand new ass kicking album SWORN ALLEGIANCE  as well as other issues dealing with the five year break in the band?s career?. It is time for the DEATH METAL victory!!

While supporting their new release Debase have played a number of shows and festivals throughout Sweden. The album they are supporting is their third one called UNLEASHED that was released in February this year.

In early August I had the pleasure of interviewing the legendary Canadian metal icon, Brian Volmmer. Of all places for the interview, it took place in Gander, Newfoundland. We had driven in to Gander from St. John's, a four hour drive, to see them live and to get an int person interview with Brian. Although he had a busy day in front of him, he managed to set aside about 30mins for me to ask him all about Helix, their new line-up, the recent 30th Anniversary show, his upcoming bio, etc. Enjoy......
