FRANCIS BUCHHOLZ
Francis Buchholz played with the Scorpions for almost twenty years, appearing on the "Fly to the Rainbow" (1974), "In Trance" (1975), "Virgin Killer" (1976), "Taken by Force" (1977), "Tokyo Tapes" (1978), "Lovedrive" (1979), "Animal Magnetism" (1980), "Blackout" (1982), "Love at First Sting (1984), "World Wide Live" (1985), "Savage Amusement" (1988) and "Crazy World" (1990) albums. By the early '90s Francis felt it was time to take a step away from the constant touring and the music business as a whole. Now he has finally returned to the stage together with his old friend and fellow ex-Scorpions member Uli Jon Roth. We managed to sit down with Francis as he, among other things, recounted the confusing happenings surrounding the very successful "Love at First Sting" (1984) album as well as his activies for the past fifteen years away from the public eye and much more.

DEREK SHERINIAN
Derek Sherinian, a keyboard virtuoso, having appeared on such records as Alice Cooper's "The Last Temptation" (1994) and Dream Theater's "Change of Season" (1995), "Falling Into Infinity" (1997) and "Once in A Livetime" (1998) and touring with Kiss, now shares his time between solo albums and Planet X as well as touring and recording with Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force and Billy Idol among various other ventures. Many things have happened in the King Diamond camp since their last visit to Finland. The band has released two studio albums ABIGAIL II and THE PUPPET MASTER and and also a live album called "Deadly Lullabies" which came out in 2004. Although it's already been three years since the release of "Puppet Master" King Diamond hasn't been able to do any touring outside U.S for a while and actually this tour was his first in Europe in five years. So it was about time to get an update on what's going on in the world of King Diamond. I managed to reach bands guitarists Andy LaRocque and Mike Wead before the band's first sold out night in Helsinki and they were nice enough to have this brief conversation.. Hope you like it!
