The 7th Of December 2012
Nosturi Helsinki
Finland
When the co-tour package consisting of Kreator, Morbid Angel, Nile and the young thrash guns Fueled By Fire was announced, it wasn’t any shock as the tickets were sold out. Generally, these kinds of packages definitely pull hundreds of people to shows, resulting a number of sold out gigs. The whole Nosturi club was entirely packed and full when about 600 metal freaks crawled to testify these four bands in action. The night was a real dream come true for all the fans to witness these leading names on the metal map on the same night and the whole gig was a worth every cent for sure. Sweating raging pits were rolling all night long and the Metal-Rules.com was at present for obvious reasons.

MICHAEL MONROE
REVIEW AND PICTURES BY MARKO SYRJALA
Year 2012 was another great one for Michael Monroe. The band did shows in U.S, South America, Sweden and they played numerous shows in Finland including all the biggest festivals. Lately the band has been working on the follow up for highly successful SENSORE OVERDRIVE and the album should be out in early 2013. The band returned to Helsinki and Club Tavastia on early December and played three sold out shows in a row. These gigs were the last ones of the SENSORE OVERDRIVE –tour which lasted over one and half years.

The symphonic metal legends from Finland have finally come to Puerto Rico!
There’s no doubt that this was the most anticipated concert of the year, and due the announcement of Anette Olzon parted away from the band there was some intrigue about what was going to happened. Later the announcement of Floor Jansen as replacement for Olzon really helped for some of the undecided fan to go and see this combination performed. |

Testament, Malefice and Xerath
@ KoKo, Camden London
30th November 2012
Review by Rhiannon Marley
Hailed as 'arguably one of the most popular American thrash groups of all time', seasoned fireball Testament have plenty of hell-raising on their hands.
After the release of tenth studio album 'Dark Roots of Earth', they're hitting the capital with a vengeance tonight – the first time I'll have witnessed them since they annihilated Bloodstock Open Air back in August!
London fans have been waiting in anticipation for weeks, and judging by ticket-holders shivering in masses outside, it looks set to be a veteran guest-list: Kreator tees, thrash cuts and thinning barnets confirming Testament's unwavering fan-base who, you can bet your life, queued with as much fervour in '89 as they do in 2012. |

Sodom, Gospel of Horns and Ancient Ascendant
@ The Underworld, Camden
18th November 2012
Germany has long been known for its thriving metal scene and enthusiastic crowds. So when German metallers, Sodom, arrived back in the UK, the usually tame crowd were going to be shown what a metal gig is all about. |
