Interview with Michael Olivieri and Carey Howe
Conducted by Robert Williams
Videography Courtesy of Sandra Torres
Since the early eighties vocalist/guitarist Michael Olivieri, guitarist Carey Howe and drummer Dean Roberts have been cranking out a triple axe attack of melodic metal under the banner of Leatherwolf. Currently rounded out by bassist Patrick Guyton and guitarist Greg Erba the band is enjoying some stateside success performing as part of "Heavy Metal Day" at this summer's Rocklahoma festival where they will join other classic metal favorites such as Saxon, Anthrax, Overkill and Metal Church. Also of note is that Leatherwolf fans should be pleased to find out that the band is in production of their first ever full length DVD release, while no release date is currently set for the DVD, anyone who has seen and heard the metal veterans live can certainly attest that it will be well worth the wait.

SUICIDAL TENDENCIES
with INSPECTOR CLUZO and VIRUS

All live pics and review by HannTu
When you think of crossover thrash, you either think of Agnostic Front or Suicidal Tendencies. These guys were doing it way before the current crop of Municipal Waste or what-have-you, and they did it with an undeniable and unbridled sense of cool. Suicidal Tendencies have been around longer than most, but they haven’t lost the fireball energy at their live shows, and the thought of Mike Muir and co. grabbing London by the balls filled most thrashers with joy. On the very same night, the Metal Hammer Golden Gods awards were being held in the O2, but the Electric Ballroom in Camden was still packed to the brim for the arrival of the Cyco crew.

FAITH NO MORE
June 24, 2009
KAISANIEMI PARK, HELSINKI -FINLAND
REPORT BY MARKO SYRJÄLÄ AND ARTO LEHTINEN
PICTURES BY MARKO SYRJÄLÄ
Faith No More called it quits in 1998 after the ALBUM OF THE YEAR had seen the light of day and the tours were completed. Since then it has been speculated about the possible return or comeback for years and even the band members had ruled out the whole reunion thing several times. Singer Mike Patton was always asked in several interviews about a possible return, but he rather focused on his own bands Fantomas, Mr. Bungle, and Tomahawk etc. than teaming up with the old band members. However, some things should remain unchanged and untouched, but it is just amazing to see how some minds can change after all and Faith No More truly returned to the limelight.
