If you'd like to have one of your original creations considered for inclusion read on.....

Metal-Rules.com is holding a wallpaper contest for Metal-Rules.com. All images will be reviewed by Metal-Rules.com and the winners will have their wallpaper posted online here for download. Each winner will also be awarded a copy of the Metal-Rules.com Volume I compilation CD. If you would like to enter an image for the contest, please follow the instructions below. Three winners will be chosen after we have received a suitable number of entries. The winners will be notified by e-mail upon publication of the three winning images.

To be considered for the contest, all submissions must conform to the following guidelines:

Image must be 1600x1200 pixels in dimension in PSD OR JPG format.
The URL Metal-Rules.com must be clearly visible on the image.
The winning images will become property of Metal-Rules.com.
Do not make a collage of album covers or band photographs - this is for your own original designs, not a picture or a collage.
Please send your submission to metalhead@metal-rules.com with your image attached OR with hyperlink to your image in the e-mail.

Pointers: Keep in mind the target for the wallpaper is someone's desktop. A clean design that does not overpower the screen will be rated higher. People will want to be able to clearly see, or arrange, their desktop icons around the artwork so they can actually use this wallpaper. The medium for your artwork is screen display, not print. Therefore keep the DPI at screen resolution. If your file(s) are large, please zip them with a utility like Winzip before e-mailing them to us.
