On listening to this album you can almost smell the stone washed denim and old leather that defined the 80s and hair metal. That's probably because that's what Mat Sinner started off doing and has been doing well with in Sinner ever since. With over 30 years of experience in the field of hard rock/hair metal Sinner has got the formula almost down to a T.
Three guitars? Check
Dueling guitar solos and two guitars playin the same riff? Check.
Chunky riffs? Double check.
There's nothing new here, but over all it's as polished as it can be.
While heavy on cliche, this isn't what your going to listen to for thought provoking, deep lyrics. It's not going to blow your mind, but it's worth a look if you like stuff that sounds like a mix between a heavy Whitesnake and middle of the road Iron Maiden.
