Beasto Blanco
Live Fast Die Loud
November 2013
Released: 2013, Rat Pak Records
Rating: 5.0/5
Reviewer: Celtic Bob

Longtime Alice Cooper bassist Chuck Garric’s side project Beasto Blanco just released it’s debut CD entitled LIVE FAST DIE LOUD. Hands down this is one of the best albums of the year. Soon as the first sound hits you, game over, you’re a fan. Not too far removed from some of Rob Zombie’s stuff except this entire album is fantastic with no filler.

The video for the debut single “Breakdown” was released a few weeks prior to the album and has been a You Tube smash with over 30k plays. Not too shabby for a few weeks. If that is any indication, then this album will be a success. It has all the elements that an album needs but most of all it’s energetic and fresh. Chuck gives us a Hard Rock album with some old Punk elements which is needed today. Song-wise all of them are equal although “Beasto Blanco”, “Breakdown” and “Motor Queen” slightly stand out as the top 3 with the title track and “California” close.

LIVE FAST DIE LOUD is the debut of 2013. I cannot think of a better debut upon writing this review. Hands down this is a killer album from start to finish. Buy it and Crank it.
