Wrath of God
November 2012
Released: 2012, Livarkahil Rating: 4.0/5 Reviewer: Metal-Rules.com UK Team Now, I’ve said it before that the French death metal scene has really started taking the world by storm by producing giants such as the mighty GOJIRA and now, LIVARKAHIL!! And these guys really keep up with the scene, blistering guitar work, pounding guitar riffs and ear shattering vocals that need you wanting more. Hailing from the streets of Paris, this death metal monster was born back in 2006, with an array of line-up changes, the finally found that perfect of harmony, I say harmony, there ain’t nothing harmonious about these guys. Opening with The Eternal Sun which features a minute opening solo, it quickly kicks into the fast paced blast beats and death screams, it sets the scene for the rest of this album as Through Hatred and Devotion kicks in immediately. As far as it goes this album has all the potential of becoming something great, with a none stop pace it’s a must have for death metal fans across the world. Definitely for fans of GOJIRA!!
