Danish/Swedish doom death metal band Cerekloth release their first full length album ‘In the Midst of Life We are in Death’ via Hells Headbangers Records. After five years and two E.Ps this offering is a rather depressing collection of bleak, doomy, sludge slow, death metal.



The seven songs barley change pace throughout the album and there are no stand out tracks.

The opening track suggests that a fan of Nile may want to prick their ears but then after waiting over three minutes for the vocals to start you just want to close them.



The fact that the first track sounds like an unfinished demo is the first disappointment of seven.
