Released: 2004, T2 Productions Rating: 0.5/5 Reviewer: Luxi Lahtinen An idea to get some of the best Finnish Heavy Metal vocalists together (Marco Hietala of Tarot, Antony of Machine Men, Sammy of Ancara, etc.) to sing Christmas songs for one album must sound and feel absurd, totally crazy and quite possibly even at least a bit funny, right? Well, this idea has (unfortunately) become a reality, as hard as that is to swallow. I think there’s simply no excuses to release such a thing like a record full of known X-mas songs done and sung by “heavy metal heroes”. Everybody can surely smell from miles away that these types of albums are made for commercial purposes only and it doesn’t serve anyone’s interest at all. So without feeling any guilt it can be announced that this idea was born dead in advance already. A badly failed attempt to cash in on people’s good will and release something like this. Simply awful and stupid! Even content-wise, it made me feel sick. I mean, just fvckkin' SICK...!! I hate fuckin’ shit-mas and I hate this fuckin’ frisbee from the very bottom of my hairy balls!! It even gave me pimples for X-mas eve… DAMNN!! I can admit Marco Hietala did a splendid job in a song called “Varpunen Jouluaamuna”, but that’s all I really liked about this pathetic collection of even more fuckin’ pathetic X-mass songs. Jesus died on a cross 2000-years-and-something ago and this record died in murderously short seconds when I mistakenly placed it into my CD player for the first spin. Be nailed to this misery forever if I made you curious about it even by accident. "X-mas is DEAD..." shall it be declared at last.
