“Take one portion of a horror movie. Nah, let´s say two. Add a mixture of Danny Elfmanisque compositions, and a tad of the spirit of Tim Burton. Indulge in a bowl of Death Metal with a blackish aftertaste, and mix in with some industrial elements. Add in some occasional bombastic orchestrations and decorate with a fair share of lunacy. Stir with a wooden spoon and serve with lemon. We do recommend starting with a small dosage...”.
Eh, so where all this is leading us? Toward an eternal sea of madness where a bunch of a totally crazy bunch of wackos have had enough guts to cruise on the top of waves of a healthy experiment and senseless absurdity when musical genres know no boundaries? Well, I guess it´s fair to say something like that, but at the same time, not quite, however... ´Somewhat´ original, innovative and even awe-inspiring shit this is for sure? Yes. Each and every 74 minutes in it, actually... Metal? Yes. Or wait! Actually no... But still, at times very much so and even beyond that as The Wicked line-up on the band´s 2nd record, features several guest musicians from such famed bands as Sinergy and Impale Nazarene. Remember, those two aforementioned bands are still Metal, aren´t they? Vastly epic, beautiful, atmospheric, colossal, utterly twisted and savage, unorthodox, pleasingly soundtrack´ish and positively mind-wrecking shit this could be considered as well... Especially love the ´hidden´ tracks 10., 11. and 12. on this release that are nothing, but a sheer, maximized goofiness. FVKKK...!!!
Need more? I tell and reveal nothing...
Taste, suck, touch and feel it yourself... and get ready for some ´tiny´ surprises on your darkened and pervert joyride with The Wicked (Hah!).
