Spicy Whiskey
August 2000
Released: ,
Rating: 2.0/5
Reviewer: Waspman

Mumble, mumble, mumble, mumble. That’s my impression of Spicy Whiskey lead mush-mouth Gaelle’s vocals. For a full impression I’d have to type that out for almost a full half-hour. Sound like fun? Didn’t think so. Try listening to it. Actually, it is too bad that she doesn’t enunciate intelligibly because her voice is strong and quite good in a (ahem) whiskey-soaked sort of way.

As for the rest of this French band? Well, it’s not exactly what I would expect from a band from France. Most French bands that I know of are usually death merchants or dragon-slayers but Spicy Whiskey has more in common with a band like Nash.
