First concevied in November 2011 By Anna Kiraly and Istvan Biro, in the darkest depths of Hungary,
The Concecpt was to form a new female fronted act with smooth rock fills, but with a Hard and heavy metal riff and gothic elements, that would be accompanied by a symphonic orchestra...SOUND FAMILIAR?????
Now, I have what is classed a very intensive collection of female fronted rock/metal bands and some fall into the above genre but it is what I class as the NIGHTWISH genre. But I thought and hoped Sorronia might be different and pack a punch....How wrong I was!
Just from the intro of the Album my heart began to sink, but I continued to listen and "Fallen Angel" started and was followed by " Enemy of Yourself" and the same riffs followed... OK "Sorronia" have tried to break into the industry, but so have too many bands (female fronted bands) and are falling into the trap of this opera style to their music....although the female vocals does have such a great range as well.
In all this album will appeal to the much younger generation of fans, but to us veterans we have seen and heard it for so many years now...
