Videos From The Cellar: The Atlantic Years (DVD)
August 2007
Released: 2007, Rhino Records
Rating: 5.0/5
Reviewer: Celtic Bob

Finally all the classic Ratt videos have made their way to DVD thanks to the fine people at Rhino Records. This is the DVD that fans have been wanting for years and the timing couldn’t be better. Ratt are on tour with Poison this summer promoting this and it’s CD counterpart (TELL THE WORLD). A sure fire summer hit.

Starting off with the ever popular “Wanted Man” clip just blasts you back to a time when Metal was pure fun and the lyrics were not so meaningful. All you ever wanted is here complete with “Back For More” with cameos by Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee as cops. There are 4 songs here that have never appeared on a home video or DVD release making this one of the must own releases of the year.

The bonus area is minimal with commentaries by Pearcy, DeMartini and Blotzer and a scattered old footage clip. All in all a great look into what made Ratt one of the most popular metal bands to ever come out of the 80’s.

To some this may look dated and slightly cheesy in parts but to the longtime and die hard fans this is pure bliss and a true treasure chest. All metal fans should own this DVD and crank it up and enjoy.
