I cannot tell you much background info on this band at all! I picked up this CD based on a catching a clip of one of their videos. And guess what? It's fuckin' great!!! I do know that this is a best of package with 4 new songs. Apparently the song "Sculptures of Pain" is in rotation on some metal stations/shows. These guys are in the vein of Sanctuary (Into the Mirror Black) and are somewhat like Savatage. It's by no means a thrash album nor is it nowhere near glam. They are more of a progressive metal band with some thrash elements. A lot of songs have clean guitar parts. This, accompanied with awesome vocals makes for some very haunting listened to with headphones in bed at 2AM!! Some of you may jump to the conclusion that this is a wimp band....HOWEVER, the slower acoustic songs are not slow as in the glam ballads shit out in the 80's. They are much more in depth and eerie, well worth a listen. If you are looking for this CD in North America, you will find it in the import section. My copy is a German Import, but the band actually originates from Sweden.
