Mental Horror
Proclaiming Vengeance
April 2002
Released: 2002, Necropolis/Deathvomit
Rating: 4.0/5
Reviewer: Arto Lehtinen

Holy-mother-fucking-jesus-bloody-christ the Brazilian death metallers Mental Horror have taken the extreme aggression of the most utter nihilistic death metal approach to another level of the total brutality raging the same intensive brazilian nuclear death metalic chaos and mayhem in the wake of the other Brazilian death metal forces Rebaelliun, Krisiun and Abhorrence. At least It is obvious the Brazilian death metal of the 21th generation has definitely developed the entire new murderous way of unleashing the true and pure death metal with the undisputed uncompromisding grip giving and showing no mercy, just rising the genocidal inquisition from the chaos like the Mental Horror dudes do on Proclaiming Vengeance. The trio storming throughout the output with the infernal passion and devotion has managed to create the album obeying the basic rules of death metal, lyrics with full of hate and despise toward christian ehtiques and above all no keyboards and wimpy factor included, just pure death metal with the big D. Mental Horror will get every death head possessed with the Brazilian brutal primitive by proclaiming the real vengeance.
