Released: 2008, Shrapnel Records
Reviewer: Celtic Bob
One of the greatest modern guitarists that has been partially taken from his art due to the crippling and usually fatal disease called ALS. This may have slowed Jason down and stopped him from playing his guitar but the music still flows through his mind.
Comprised mainly of songs from his past when he was still on the rise to becoming one of the greatest players in the guitar world. The most inspiring tracks on this collection are the ones that come from his PERSPECTIVE disc which he released after being diagnosed and especially the new song “Electric Playground For Peace” in which he is heard through his ventilator. With no use of his arms or voice he still manages to communicate and create music.
An amazing collection that takes you from the beginning of his career as a teen right up until he joined David Lee Roth and got diagnosed with ALS and couldn’t tour anymore. We are also treated to new compositions that he wrote after the fact. Truly an inspiration for all musicians and people
