Harms Way
Oxytocin
February 2007
Released: 2006, Black Lodge/Sound Pollution Rating: 1.0/5 Reviewer: Anders Sandvall Harms Way is a Swedish “all-star” band with members from Merciless, Terra Firma, Unleashed, and Dia Psalma. The music Harms Way delivers is way different when compared to the members other acts. OXYTOCIN is all about worn-out, boring stoner rock whose expiration date has long passed. OXYTOCIN lasts for 45 painful minutes, but believe me it feels twice as long. The material is substandard and the only reasonable thing for Harms Way to do is to go back and rehearse before they even think of releasing another album. It surprises me that such skilled musicians can deliver such poor music. I’m going to put this album away, and I can’t imagine ever listening to it again. Harms Way is a band that makes you wonder how they got signed in the first place; there are a lot of much better bands out there that are struggling to get a record deal... http://www.soundpollution.se ![]()
