Heaven & Hell
Radio City Music Hall - Live! (DVD)
June 2011
Released: 2011, Eagle Vision
Rating: 4.0/5
Reviewer: Celtic Bob

This Blu-Ray is a re-issue of the DVD that came out a few years back on another label. Eagle Rock Ent have issued this Blu-Ray a year after the passing of Ronnie James Dio with added bonus features.

Seeing how Lord of The Wasteland reviewed the DVD when it was released it would be pointless for me to review the same content as his review is extremely well done. While most of you reading this will probably already own the DVD and be thinking: Why should I upgrade? There are 2 reasons you may want to consider. The first being the improved picture quality. Seeing this concert in HiDef makes it worth the price alone. Secondly would be for the bonus features. You are treated to behind the scenes interviews with the road crew, production personnel, set designers and the band themselves. Seeing the stage go from ideas to watching it be set up sheds a new appreciation on what it takes to put on a show. Even the crowd interviews are slightly amusing at times.

Is it worth an upgrade to you? I would tend to say it is.
