Flesh Made Sin
The Aftermath of Amen
July 2009
Released: 2009, Neurotic Records Rating: 3.0/5 Reviewer: Bruce Sanchez Straight from the club scene in the Netherlands, Flesh Made Sin is looking to reach abroad with their latest effort, THE AFTERMATH OF AMEN. And it definitely has the potential to brew up some attention. Flesh Made Sin is a thrash band with a hint of death metal. Say Sepultura and Slayer had a little girl, and when she was of legal age she got it on with Death. The product of that affair would be Flesh Made Sin. The songwriting is quality. Most riffs are rather catchy and memorable. Lyrically, THE AFTERMATH OF AMEN is just another regurgitation of anti-Christian sentiments. But to be honest, with a song title like “Cum to Christ”, I wasn’t expecting to hear anything unique regarding the human condition. If you’re a fan of modern thrash, then this is an album for the collection. ![]()
