Eve To Adam
Auburn Slip
September 2001
Released: 2001, Mikendra Records
Rating: 2.0/5
Reviewer: Pete

You can file Eve To Adam in with the Creed's and Tool's (no pun intended) of the year. Not that they have reached that stature in popularity, but musically. Based in New York, Eve To Adam are a quartet founded by the brothers Taki Sassaris and Alex Sassaris (vocals and drums respectively) creating a respectable buzz in their area. Auburn Slip is 11 tracks of moody, aggressive rock, plain and simple. I've listened to this disc a few times and unfortunately, I lost interest with each listen rather quickly. The tracks are very moody, usually building to the chorus, but not really going anywhere. I'm sure if these guys get the right push with the music climate in it's current state, they could very well be flavor of the month.
