Eden Curse’s 3rd studio album Trinity is packed with all their traditional trademarks and is the most powerful sounding record to date. Along with guest vocalists James LaBrie (Dream Theater) and Andi Deris (Helloween) it also marks the bands recorded debut with their new keyboard player Alessandro Del Vecchio.
The album starts off in dramatic style with ‘Trinitas Sanctus’ intro then straight into Trinity. It certainly grabs your attention with solid rock guitar riffs and grove. "No Holy Man" featuring James LaBrie is a superb track, slightly mellower than the previous two tracks but still all the makings of a classic track. It brings us smoothly into the ballad of the album "Guardian Angel" with it soaring guitar solos.
"Can’t Fool The Devil" brings the tempo back up again. "Black Widow" featuring Andi Deris on vocals gives the track a heavier sound that makes it stand out from the other tracks on the album. The cover of "Rock n' Roll Children" is great tribute to Ronnie James Dio.
Trinity could be a future ‘classic’ rock album. With it great range of styles, guitar riffs, harmonies its delivers the listener a solid experience that shows how well Eden’s Curse have advanced musically since their first album.
