The Blood of Titans
January 2012
Released: 2011, Transcend Music
Rating: 3.0/5
Reviewer: UK Team

After the release of their 3-track EP released earlier in 2011, Elimination are now back with the full length album ‘The Blood of Titans’. This British Metal band took to the road and gained a strong fan base supporting Evile on their UK Tour, and has since been committed to writing and recording their album.

The album starts with a great intro sounding like something from a pre-battle moment in a movie before the band kick in with some great rhythms, and melodies, whilst having a sound that is very thrash metal but still manage to keep it their own, as well as showing some great songwriting skills. Although I did tire from the album half way through with the songs sounding too much alike there is no doubt there are some great riffs in this album which I loved, but I feel the vocals let this album down, with the style remaining the same and doesn’t show much variety, although there are some high pitch screams thrown in there for good measure.

This still is a great album and one that deserves to be checked out with many Thrash/Heavy metal fans out there who will appreciate it a little more than I did.
