The Swedish black metal tornado Dark Funeral strikes back with the brand new and definitely the long waited third opus, Diabolis Interium, containing all in all 8 blasphemous tunes. Dark Funeral have never let down any die hard core black metal warrior on their previous albums as far as the general sound policy is concerned as both the earlier albums have had the really satanic vicious murderous sounds responsible by the producer wizard Peter Tagtgren. It ain’t any big surprise why Dark Funeral have once again fortified the legendary Abyss studio to carry out the satanic visions of their own on the new album. The sounds are really massive overwhelming nihilistic. Ok of course some blacked hearts may start claiming Dark Funeral have aimed more into the commercial direction. Well the opening tune “The arrival of Satan’s empire” already shows the paved satanic way that this album won’t get into the top ten chart like some other black compos have done. The whole album is nothing, but a real triumph of unholy, evilness and darkness. Galicula’s vicious and hellish raw voice crowns the whole evilness. Secrets of the black arts was an evidence of black metal masterpiece indeed, but Diabolis Interium will definitely set a new standard and reach an entire new dimension of the raw black metal to become another black metal masterpiece. Every extreme metal fans should immediately rush to the local store to get Diabolis Interium. Hail Satan!!
