Downfall of Gaia
Suffocating in the Swarm of Cranes
November 2012
Released: 2012, Metal Blade Records Rating: 3.0/5 Reviewer: Metal-Rules.com UK Team It’s hard to get that super-messy but isn’t messy sound right. If you don’t get it spot on you get an incomprehensible fuzz of noise, luckily these guys hit the nail on the head, condensing their angst and fury into a full on, audio assault. 'Suffocating in the Swarm of Cranes' is not the most original or inspiring album, but what it lacks there they make up for in their energy which is lacking from far too much music these days. The bands frantic approach isn’t for all, and some might even come away with an earache, but it’ll be worth it, like the bruises you get from a mosh-pit, so definitely worth a listen!
