Destrophy is the pop/rock/metal machine based out of Des Moines, Iowa. Officially launched in 2002 by producer and singer/songwriter Ari, who scoured the state and recruited only the most talented and success-minded musicians to bring his vision to the stage. Destrophy's brutal and precise live show, coupled with epic songwriting and pop-oriented vocals continue to build and sustain the buzz surrounding. This is their second release with Victory Records.
The title track “Cry Havoc “ kicks off to a rocking start combining great vocals, grooving guitar riff catchy track. “We Are Alive”, “Seven Nights”, “All My Life”, “Still Bleeding” and “Closer” continues in the same style, catchy pop/metal combo that doesn’t fail to please the listener. “What Would We Say” is a slower, melodic track before “Misery” takes us back up to speed with a nu metal offering and into the heavier “It Ends Tonight”. “Hello” the final track is softer, mellower ballad that finishes off the album with thought provoking lyrics.
If you are into Bowling for Soup, Linkin Park, Sevendust and all the catchy pop/rock/metal combo music then you must check this album out! This album will appeal to fans of the main stream rock/metal. With foot stomping drums & ballsy bass, rocking guitar riffs and great lyrics and vocals, you’ll have no problem getting into and enjoying this album.
