Rocked, Wired & Bluesed: The Greatest Video Hits (DVD)
March 2015
Released: 2005, Universal Music
Rating: 2.5/5
Reviewer: JP

As you may know Cinderella was a bit of a flash in the pan. They cranked out four albums and have not put out new studio material since. At the height of the 80’s and the American love-affair with melodic Hard Rock the band churned out about 10 videos in short succession.

ROCKED, WIRED & BLUSED: THE GREATEST VIDEO HITS is just that 10 videos from the first three albums and little more. There are a few bonus features commentary from Tom Keifer and Eric Brittingham and excerpts from another Cinderella VHS TALES FROM THE GYPSY ROAD but not much else. The videos are fun, good times, good memories and they demonstrate how much major labels would spend on promo videos back in the day!

Despite being remastered and now having Dolby Digital 5.1 Sound, all of these videos have been reissued several times before. I give 5/5 for the videos and songs themselves and 0/5 for another repackaging of the same videos again so it balances out to 2.5. Fun but certainly a major label cash grab.
