The Finnish insanely thrashing old-school farts, these 5 brave men in Bloodride – besides breaking their legs and overall getting injured under unknown circumstances, they are still able to gather together for arranging intense rehearsal sessions from time to time, to get some steam unleashed from the band´s constantly pumping thrash machine.



So it has happened this time too. The band has been working with their debut album, titled CROWNED IN HELL through the whole spring, and kind of like a sweet advance offering what´s supposed to come out from these experienced gentlemen´s collective instruments, the guys decided to release this 3-track single, SUPREME PREDATOR, first.



Kicking it all off with “March of the Dead”, it´s uplifting to notice Bloodride have stuck to their old weapons since they started out in 2000: Old-school thrash – and nothing but old-school thrash with its true spirit and determination to make it sound like there´s never been any other kind of music around them but a straightforward, nostalgic and safe-sounding old-school thrash. With powerful gang shouts, aggressive riffing fests, a good load of variation song structure-wise, Teemu´s short kinda to-the-point leads and as well as Jykä´s half-growling vocal delivery, this song contains a winner´s recipe, pretty much. Both “Slave of Evil” and “Demon´s Way” are fast-paced thrashers with enough hooks thrown in – and yet again spiced up with some ´80s-tinged background vocalism, speak for themselves about Bloodride´s determination to cause us some serious spinal injuries due to some semi-active headbanging sessions that your head may even be very willing to do while spinning this single around. You have been warned anyway.



Now this 3-track single made already my ears pretty darn hungry for CROWNED IN HELL, I can tell…
