Bang Tango
From The Hip
January 2007
Released: 2006, Perris Records Rating: 3.5/5 Reviewer: Celtic Bob Joe Leste returns with a new disc of driving hard rock. Band Tango burst onto the scene in the late 80's after the glam and hair bands were past their peak, but yet they managed to amke a small mark for themselves. A fresh dose of hard rock that has the old sunset strip sleaze feel to it. Joe's voice is excellent in places, while in a few instances it sounds like it is straining to hit the proper notes. Songs like "Go, Go, Go" and "Get Used To It" really stand out against some of the others. There are guitar solo's a plenty on this record, which many newer bands have a tendency to overlook. A great hard rock album with better than average vocals and some killer guitar. ![]()
