Blackstone Diezel
Trouble
March 2010
Released: 2010, Demo Rating: 3.5/5 Reviewer: Thorsten Zwingelberg You like cruising in your mighty pickup truck or your old-school muscle car? You’re sick and tired of efficient but boring vehicles that might take you safely from A to B but lack everything a man’s dream used to be made of? Then you might just be ready for some Black Motor Rock from Deggendorf, Germany. Four mechanics joined forces and used their tools to construct a powerful piece of rock that can easily be traced back to the 70s, while still responding to today’s requirements of honest rock music. Just like with the four wheel models, this six-piece needs some time to warm up, but once you’ve got this motor running, TROUBLE is up for a ride that you might enjoy more than you would have believed. “Get Down” paves the way for horsepower monsters like “My friend dies in a big fat car”, which combines fine bluesy rock riffs and the groove of the likes of ZZ Top with catchy hooks. Get this motor running, baby, and get yourself some greasy Black Motor Rock. Rev this up! ![]()
